History of the Golf Course

Our beautiful 9-hole course opened in 1992 after a devastating flood had wiped out the original course. It is situated just west of Crawford, Nebraska, along Highway 20, only three miles from the historic Fort Robinson. The White River flows through the course, and the scenic surroundings offer tree-lined fairways, wildflowers, prairie grasses, and wildlife.

“This is such a great course. It much bigger than I expected, well maintained, and keeps it exciting by the variety on different holes. Will be back!” – Caleb W.

Overview of the Course

The course features 3,178 yards of golf for a par of 36, with a course rating of 35.2 and a slope rating of 125. The course is open from April 1st to October 1st, with additional play as the weather permits. Reservations are not required, although they are suggested to ensure your spot.

Hole by Hole Description

Hole 1

A magnificent view of the Red Cloud Buttes can be seen from the 1st hole.

Hole 2 and 3

From time to time, Long Horn Cattle can be seen at the edge of the course near holes two and three.

Hole 4

The first three holes are fairly simple, while things get a little more difficult on the fourth hole.

Hole 5

The fifth hole has a hillside tee box and is very challenging. It has water on the right with brush and trees to the left, making a straight ball a must. Golfers will find the spectacular view and the play worth the difficulty.

Holes 6, 7, and 8

Play through holes six, seven, and eight as you again cross over the White River and out on the greens.

Hole 9

Play through holes six, seven, and eight as you again cross over the White River and out on the greens.
